Details about our recruitment process, training requirements, and how to get involved will be available soon. We're currently setting up our society and will be announcing our first recruitment drive shortly.
Must be a current student at University of Leeds with ideally 2+ years of study remaining. Not required to be on a medical/healthcare related course.
Must be willing to commit 15 hours per month and be able to attend inflexible training days in person. Flexible availability for emergency calls is essential.
Must be willing to undergo the full CFR training course with YAS (Yorkshire Ambulance Service) and complete a DBS check.
18+ years old. Driving not mandatory but strongly advised - we prioritise applications from those with licences and vehicle access. If you have a licence, it must be a full UK licence with no more than three penalty points.
A caring attitude is essential. No previous medical experience necessary, but you must be able to cope with potentially distressing situations and work effectively in pairs during emergency responses.
